Mrs. Ynes Maria Copeland's Obituary
Copeland, Ynes Maria, 77, of St. Petersburg, passed away Wednesday, August 4, 2010 at Hopsice Woodside. She was born in Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic. She was a very strong lady; spunky and independent. Ynes had a good sense of humor and was very out-going. She had a love for parties and being able to dress up for special occasions. Ynes loved her family and being able to visit her granddaughters. She spent many years devoted to her son, Lynn, as his caretaker. One of her hobbies was designing flower arrangements as well as cooking and sewing clothes for her family. She was loved by all who met her. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lynn Copeland Sr., and her two brothers: Jose and Geraldo. Ynes is survived by her son Lynn Copeland, Jr., St. Petersburg; her daughter Darlene and husband Dan Redding, Hamilton, VA; 4 granddaughters: Kristen, Chelsea, Hayley, and Lindsay; and her 3 sisters: Atty, Zoraida and Cuca.
