Avalon, Woodrow M., "Woody" 92, of St Petersburg, Florid a passed away, Friday, August 6, 2010. He was born in Allentown, PA. He retired Chief Master Sergeant US Air Force after 30 years serving during WWII, Korean Conflict and the Vietnam War. He was stationed at Mc Dill Air Force Base. He retired from the US Postal Service after 10 years. He was a member of the American Legion Post 14, the Moose Lodge and St Justin, Martyr Catholic Church. He is preceded in death by his wife Marjorie. He is survived by his sister-in-laws Ella Rea Watters, Lucille Milburn and Carrie Kidd, and brother-in-laws Russell DeSpain and Eugene DeSpain.
