Winston Chin's Obituary
Winston Chin, 66, of St. Petersburg passed away Sunday, September 13, 2020.
Mr. Chin was born May 6, 1954 in Jamaica, West Indies. He was a chef who started his career cooking on cruise ships. He later decided to enroll in Culinary Arts School. After completing culinary school, he traveled to different places opening restaurants. He loved cooking, fishing, fixing cars and watching Karate shows on TV.
He is preceded in death by his daughter, Toya Chin and parents, Ernest and Iris Samms Chin.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his children, Lamar, Rushine, Natoya, Camille and Kareen Chin; 4 granddaughters; 1 grandson; 3 brothers; 4 sisters; friend for life, Althea Chin-Neath; roommate and friend, Devon Neath Sr.; cousin, Devon Neath II and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, September 26, 2020 at Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery with burial in Woodlawn Memory Gardens. Visitation will be held on Saturday before the service from 12:00 pm until 1:00 pm.
