William Frank Roth's Obituary
ROTH, William F. 80, of Clearwater, Fl., passed away Sunday April 20, 2008. He lived in Louisville, Ky., for many years then moved to Cape Coral, Fl. in 1980, and to Clearwater in 2000. A native of Cincinnati, Ohio, he attended St. Gabriel School in Glendale, Ohio, and following WWII, he attended several technical schools. He was a licensed refrigeration specialist, residential contractor, and real estate agent. In Louisville, he developed and managed commercial properties. When he and his wife Evelyn moved to Cape Coral, he managed several properties and eventually retired. He was a World War II Navy veteran and served in Asia and the Philippine liberation. He had a passion for playing and watching golf, fine food, and WWII movies. His hobbies included working on cars, home remodeling, and cooking. He is survived by his daughter Linney Roth of Largo, Fl.; his son Stephen Roth and his wife Valerie of Florence, Ky.; brothers Daniel Roth of Sebring, Fl. and Richard Roth of Lawrenceburg, Ky.; grandchildren Eric, Jonathan, and Meredith Roth; and several cousins, nieces, and a nephew. He was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Evelyn Barnett Roth. Funeral services will be held Thursday April 24 at 11 am at Lakeview Baptist Church in Largo, Fl. In lieu of flowers please make memorials to the Lakeview Baptist Church Building Fund.
