Bill was the definition of a good friend; so loving, caring, kind, and funny. Whenever I sent him a card for whatever occasion, he'd always call to let me know he'd received it and to thank me for it. We had many funny conversations. He was loved by many of our Clearview church family. My prayers are for peace and comfort for his family and friends. I miss him dearly and look forward to the time when we'll meet again. Ever since "Unk Bill" moved to Florida in the 70's, he has been part of our family gatherings for birthdays, holidays, and special occasions. He would pull up in his yellow Volkswagen Beetle convertible and bring his little cooler of Diet Coke. He was there daily when my dad was in hospice and there when our house burned down. He would send me countless email jokes and trivia which was how I knew he was doing OK. He loved to play golf and looked forward to when his "snowbird" golfing buddies came back into town. He was always happy and had a smile. You will always be in our hearts Unk Bill.
