William E. Ondra's Obituary
Ondra, William E., 94, of Pinellas Park, passed away October 21, 2017. He was born in Lowellville, OH in 1923 and moved here from Industry, PA. William was a WWII Army Veteran, having served in the 33rd Division, 136th Infantry Company, achieving rank of Staff Sargent. He was a recipient of the Asiatic-Pacific Theater with 2 Bronze stars, Philippine Liberation Ribbon with 1 Bronze star; Good Conduct Medal; Purple Heart, Victory Medal WWII. William was the last of his immediate family, having been preceded in death by his parents, Stephen and Mary Ondra; siblings Mary Powell, Jean Hohan, Helen Fallot, Stephen Ondra, Joseph Ondra, John Ondra and Martin Ondra. He is survived by his wife Betty King; 2 children: Kathleen A. Gahagan and William Ondra and daughter-in-law Jackie; 5 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
