William C. Garrett's Obituary
William C. Garrett died August 14th, 2021, in Seminole, Florida
Born 08-19-1940 in Greenbriar, WV, Bill grew up in West Virginia and spent most of his adult life in Maryland and Pennsylvania before moving to Seminole.
Also known as Carl William Dillion. Bill had a very interesting family history (luckily, he wrote it all down for us).
Bill was one of a kind and definitely left an impression on people he met. Easily able to strike up a conversation with just about anyone, he was also quick to help when someone was in need.
Proud member of the 1957 WV State Champions Ravenswood Red Devils Football team. He remained active with the Red Devils organization until his passing.
A Veteran of the United States Air Force where he spent most of his time at Nellis Air Force base as an aircraft mechanic.
Bill established his company William C. Garrett & Associates in Maryland where he became a well-regarded and successful member of the Medical Malpractice Insurance industry.
Bill was an avid outdoorsman. He loved to hunt on Maryland’s Eastern Shore and was a member of the prestigious Woodmont Rod and Gun Club in Hancock, MD located in the western part of the state.
Devoted husband of 57 years and a loving Father. Bill is survived by his wife, Evella, his son Philip, daughter-in-law Janice, and three grandchildren (which he would brag about to anyone who would listen).
