William H. Bickley's Obituary
William H. Bickley (75), passed away on July 6, 2023. Bill grew up in St. Petersburg where he became a master welder. In 1966, he joined the United States Army, proudly serving his country during the Vietnam war. While in the Army, he received several accolades, including the prestigious Sharpshooter badge, a testament to his exceptional marksmanship skills. After leaving the army in 1968, he remained in the reserves until 1972.
Bill was preceded in death by his father and mother, Scott and Virginia Bickley; brother Scott Bickley; Stepson Bernard Benjamin Watts III; and grandson Bernard Benjamin Watts IV.
He is survived by his daughters Charla Ellison (Mark), Aimee Bickley (Andrew Shepherd), and Melissa Kerbo (Chris); Grandchildren Alicia Watts, Kyle Meeks, Chris Cubino, Ashleigh Lipham, Emma Lipham, Jackson Kerbo, Averie Kerbo, Chelsea Watts and Delaney Watts; Brothers Fred and Phil Bickley; and many other loved ones.
As we bid farewell to our beloved Father and Grandfather, we find solace in knowing that his spirit will live on in our hearts.
A celebration of life will be held in Lake Wales at a later date.
