Wesley T. Gardner's Obituary
Wesley Thomas Gardner, 92, of Largo, died Saturday (Feb. 3, 2007) at Morton Plant Hospital after having a stroke. He was born in Somerville, Mass., and moved here in 1980 from Needham, Mass. He retired from New England Bell after 48 years of service. He was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Largo. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, golfing and cribbage. His daughter Nancy Vinieratos Alnwick preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife of 72 years, Olive of Largo; a son Wesley Gardner Jr., West Dennis, Mass.; a daughter Janet Schumacher, Largo; two sisters: Jeanette Holliday, Scarborough, Ontario, Canada and Isabel Lumsden, Mashpee, Mass.; six grandchildren and four great-grand children.
