Warren Chase's Obituary
Warren Chase, 91, died surrounded by his family on Friday, June 14th, 2024. Warren was born in St. Louis but moved to St. Petersburg as a teenager. After high school, he honorably served in the Marines during the Korean War. Upon discharge, he was employed by the St. Petersburg Times in the composing room for 21 years. For the remainder of his working career he was a property and casualty insurance agent and Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) for L. Gerald Crews Insurance Agency.
Through his love of bowling, Warren met his wife, Ruby, the love of his life. They were married 63 years. Warren enjoyed bowling, volleyball, biking, hiking, gardening, and traveling.
He was an active member of Community Bible Baptist Church where he had served as a Deacon, Elder, and Chairman of the Board. He left a lasting impact and will be fondly remembered by all who knew him.
His survivors include two children, Vicki and Jeff, five grandchildren, Nicole, Caitlin, Gabrielle, Noah and Isaiah, and three great-grandchildren.
