Laird, Mr. Vivian P, "Pastor Viv", 89, of Pinellas Park went to be with his Gracious, Loving Heavenly Father on October 3, 2013. Pastor Viv, known to many as "Bro", was born in Northern Ireland on June 5, 1924. He was schooled in Read Obituary
Our trip to Ireland was one of my favorites then Africa ona mission trip and lion safari but praying over me on our knees at church was also memorable. Pastor Viv was the finest/best man I ever knew. Looking forward to reuniting in heaven!

I met Pastor Vivian & Merilyn at prayer when they first came to the warehouse. From the moment I met them I thought “I have to be near this man.” I have never found another that was so filled with the Holy Spirit. We went on vacation together and I was blessed to pray with them at least three times a week until God called him home. I don’t remember my father but Vivian and Merilyn let me adopt them. It was a pleasure to be of service to them as they got older. Precious Holy Abba I wait on the day when we will spend eternity in praise and adoration of our precious Messiah together!! 🙏🏻🙏🏻
we have a great memory of him because he married Valmae (Halling)and me in Nairobi Baptist Church on May 31 1987.

Dear Merilyn and family of Pastor Viv; I was priviledged to know him. My life was enhanced as a result of his shepherding, friendship and love. We enjoyed adventures together and I was given a first hand account of what a servant of Jesus Christ looks and acts like. He was the real deal and has left a multi-genrational spiritual legacy spanning the globe. Truly this was a man of God and if he heard this praise he would gently deflect it back to the glory of Christ telling us its Him we should focus on bro...I am heart broken at losing the dearest man I've ever known yet deeply convinced and encouraged I will be able to spend so much more time with him in eternity...
Loving Heavenly Father welcome your faithful Servant, Vivian Laird. Thank you for being a great example to me and my family. You will be missed.

You did make a difference even it there were times you didn't think so. May everyone remember you for "The Light That Never Goes Out"! Blessed is he who gets to see His face! We'll all see you soon!
Dear Merilyn, I have never met a couple like you and Vivian. Words can't express my respect and fondness for you both.
Calvary Chapel has lost it's father and grandfather, and we will never be the same without him. God's timing bringing you to Calvary Chapel was wonderful for all of us. We will always be thankful for his love, smiles and handshakes, attitude and direction, which was always to the Lord and to His Word.
I pray the Lord keeps you in His perfect peace, and the same for your whole family.
