Mrs. Virginia L. Ripberger's Obituary
RIPBERGER VIRGINIA “JINNY” L. RIPBERGER (nee Baker), age 99, formerly of Redington Shores, passed away on Sunday, March 1, 2015. Beloved wife of the late Raymond “Rip” Ripberger, cherished step-mother of the late R. Jeffrey “Jeff” (Janet) Ripberger of Palm Harbor, and treasured aunt, great-aunt, step-grandmother and step-great grandmother to many, including regional residents nieces Jean (Bob) Seljan and Barbara Clemenson. During the Depression she began working as a statistician and labor market analyst for the government employment office in her native city of Cleveland, Ohio, supporting her three younger siblings as they completed their high school education. Brother Newton Baker and sisters Marie Hodge and Lois Hutchinson preceded her in death. Jinny’s many friends and relatives will always cherish their memories of her warm hospitality, unfailing kindness, and quick sense of humor.
