Virginia B. Reeder's Obituary
Reeder, Virginia B., 89 of St. Petersburg died at Mease Countryside Hospital Tuesday, February 20, 2007. Born in Chicago, Illinois, she moved here in 1946 from Tallahassee. She was a member of Lakeview Presbyterian Church and was the financial secretary of the church. She was one of the founders of Operation Attack and served as treasurer for thirty-five years. An active volunteer, she donated her time to the public schools, Leisure Services and was a 25 gallon blood donor. She was an avid swimmer and enjoyed crossword puzzles and games. She is survived by two daughters, Grace Hayes of Oldsmar and Dorothy Spencer of Columbia, Maryland; three sisters, Ruth Davis of Ocala, Alice Hanna and Flo Fleming both of St. Augustine; two grandchildren, Kris Jackson of Long Brach, California and Liz Gordon of Whitman, Massachusetts and a great grandson, Andrew James Gordon of Whitman, Massachusetts
