Virginia Ann Consolo, aged 99, passed away on August 9, 2024, in St. Petersburg, Florida. Born on July 28, 1925, in Charleston, West Virginia, she led a life marked by dedication to her faith, family, and community.
Virginia's career as a bookkeeper for Kanawha County Schools was a testament to her meticulous nature and integrity. Her commitment to her work was paralleled by her devotion to her faith. She was an active member of both Presbyterian and Assembly of God Churches, where she not only worshipped but also played a significant role in church activities.
Known for her musical talent, Virginia played the alto saxophone. Her hobbies also included being a fervent prayer warrior, and she was often described as being full of life, with a laughter that was contagious and a kindness that touched all who knew her.
Virginia was preceded in death by her beloved husband, who passed away in 2003. She is survived by her son, John Joseph Consolo. Her life will be celebrated on Saturday, August 24, 2024, at 11:00 am at Memorial Park Cemetery. The services will be officiated by Pastor Kenneth Piffin.
