I have fond memories of Don from the days we attended the same church in Pinellas Park. He and his wife, Indra and their son Donnie had a predictable Sunday pattern. Sitting in the same pew each week, and coming to the altar to pray privately with his son, Donnie, during prayer time - week after week for 7 years, praying for full custody of his son. A prayer (requiring patience) that was answered. Don was an even keel (calm and steady consistency) kind of guy. Mostly quiet - not easy to upset. Don took life as it came. I was honored to perform his wedding ceremony with wife, Indra, where you could see first hand the easy-going ways of Don Norris. Calm and steady as she goes. What a great guy.
