VIOLET KATHERINE CHINN 1942 - 2024
Violet Katherine Chinn, 82, of Seminole, FL, died peacefully at the Mid-County Hospice Care Center on March 28, 2024.
She was born Violet K. George outside Pittsburgh, PA in 1942. Growing up and completing her education in the same community, she met her husband, William “Bill” Chinn. The couple moved to St. Petersburg, FL where they enjoyed the sunshine, the beach, projects at home, and wonderful neighbors. Violet “Vi” Chinn worked within walking distance at the St. Pete Times where she spent 25 memorable years and made many friends. She also had a tremendous love for pugs, had several & made new friends who shared that passion.
Violet Chinn was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Chinn, sister, Eileen Bell, nephew, Ricky Bell, brother, Norman George, and their parents. She is survived by her nephews, Raymond Bell, Robert George, and niece, Karen Daniel.
