Mr. Vernon J. Marik's Obituary
Vernon J. Marik, 87, of St. Petersburg, passed away January 9. He was a native of Oregon, Illinois and moved to this area in 1968 from Glenview, Illinois. He was a retired manager and a US Army Lieutenant veteran of WW II. He was a member of the British Floridian Club and the Florida Trails Association. Survivors include his wife of 22 years, Doreen; 5 daughters, Judy Herman, Mary Ellen Foyo, Debbie McGuire, Pat Christensen and Brenda Skinner; 2 sons Stephen and Geoffrey Parkinson; 11 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 12 at 11am at the Memorial Park Funeral Home.
