I'm so sorry to hear of Vera's passing. I first met Michael while living next door to his Uncle David when Michael would come to visit, and then met Vera when I joined the British Floridian Club. Vera was very active in the Club, and helped us all to have many great times together. I remember watching the Dick Whittington pantomime with Vera playing the part of his cat, curled up on an ottoman, trying to ignore the young children trying to talk to her during the performance. Very funny! Vera was a very valuable part of the Club. We became good friends over the years, a friendship I will always treasure. My deepest sympathies to her family, and may Vera rest in peace.
