A Life Seasoned with Love: Remembering Tung Dao
September 4th, 1965 - May 2nd, 2026
Tung lived every day with one clear thought: his family always came first.
He leaves behind his beloved wife, Jennifer Phan, his cherished sons, Lan Dao and Mason Phan, and his caring sister, Minh Dao. They were the center of his world, and he spoke of them with quiet pride no matter the day. His final moments held only thoughts of their well-being.
Tung’s kitchen was his playground. Friends and family watched in awe as he recreated any dish he had ever tasted, adding his own creative touch each time. Meals felt like gifts wrapped in flavor and care.
When the stove cooled, Tung relaxed with slow-paced video games. The gentle rhythm of calm music filled the room before bedtime, giving the house a soothing close to each night. These small habits showed his organized and kind nature.
Weekends meant simple joy: the whole family eating out together. He always picked spots that let everyone chat and laugh without hurry. Those meals are now treasured memories of his optimistic spirit.
Born in Saigon, Vietnam, Tung later made Florida, USA his home. Through years marked by intelligence, determination, and kindness, he faced a long illness with steady optimism. Even in hardship, he stayed focused on the people he loved.
We will carry his recipes, his calm routines, and his unwavering love with us. Rest easy, Tung, your family’s gratitude follows you always
