Mr. Thomas L. Shirra's Obituary
Shirra, Thomas L., Sr., 69 of St Petersburg died May 2, 2009 at St. Petersburg General Hospital. Born in Bridgeport, CT, he moved to St Petersburg in 2003 from Stratford, CT. He graduated in 1957 from Stratford High School and owned Stratford Craft Supplies for over 30 years. He was a member of the Seminole Elks, 2519 and the Pinellas Park Eagles, 4250. He also enjoyed fishing, playing cards and listening to his son's music. Survivors are sons, Thomas L., Jr. (Judy) of St Petersburg and Michael A. (Rita) of Stratford; brother, W. Paul Shirra of De Bary, FL; granddaughter, Lauren Shirra of Stratford and companion, Marilyn Vail. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to National Endowment for the Arts, Development Office
