Mr. Thomas A Bozeman's Obituary
Bozeman, Thomas A., was born to eternal life on July 27th, 2009, his 81st birthday, in Arlington, VA. He was married to Erma Jean Bozeman who is predeceased. He is survived by his only child, Tommie Jean Marzol, and her husband, Adolfo and children Thomas (13) and Evelyn (8), who reside in McLean, Virginia. He is also survived by his stepdaughter, Debbie Lynn, her husband, Allen, her daughter Jennifer and child, Chadham, who live in the West Palm Beach area and his stepson Rocky Rohr of Dayton, OH. Born in Trenton, Florida, Tom lived in Pinellas County for more than 35 years. He served his country by joining the Navy for two years during WWII, when he was just 16 years old. Upon honorable discharge, he joined the US Coast Guard where he achieved the rank of Chief Warrant Officer 4th Class. During his service in the Coast Guard, Tom captained many ships and rescued many lives. After 30 years of service, Tom retired and attended St. Petersburg Junior College where he received an Associate Arts Degree in Accounting. His dedication to serving others brought him to the Pinellas County School System, where he spent 25 years as a bus driver, mostly to special needs children. One of Tom's most prized accomplishments was earning his pilots license, as airplanes and cars were his biggest interests. Visitation and burial services will be held at Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery in St. Petersburg, on Friday, July 31st and Saturday, August 1st respectively.
