Sophia Mae Kurpe's Obituary
Kurpe, Sophia T., 87 of Kenneth City breathed her last at Northside Hospital on May 10, 2008 after her long journey, which began In Ironton, Ohio through Dayton, Ohio to here. She was a remarkable woman who seamlessly and beautifully cared for her family, home and garden, Not only perceiving the less fortunate and neighbors at their times of crisis, she also reached out and helped them through it because at the center of her being was the heart of a servant. Many at Magyar Reformed Church in Safety Harbor, the Elks, the neighbors and near and far relations will grieve at her passing because she lived to be missed. Survivors include her husband of 70 years, Paul, a daughter, Judith Kurpe, of Kenneth City; sons, Paul J., of Treasure Island and Phillip M. of St Petersburg; 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Funeral service will be held 11 AM, Friday, May 16, 2008 at the funeral home. Interment following in Memorial Park Cemetery.
