Shirley Ann Lydic's Obituary
Shirley Ann Lydic, 83, passed away on March 18, 2024, in Clearwater. She was born on December 13, 1940, in St. Petersburg, Florida.
Shirley is survived by her devoted husband of 62 years, William “Bill” Lydic. Her daughter, Lynn Marie (John) Samela, her grandson, Nicholas Gleckler, and Her brother Robert (Linda) Hadsock.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Gladys Hadsock, her son, David Lee Lydic, and her brother, Paul Hadsock.
Shirley’s life was marked by love. She spent 5-6 years at Haslem’s Book Store, a place she held dear. Additionally, she worked 11 years in childcare at Morton Plant Hospital, where her love for children shone brightly. A faithful Christian, she was an active member of the Church of Christ.
The family invites guests to a visitation at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Monday, March 25, from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM. The funeral service, officiated by Preacher Jim Shannon, will commence at 6:00 PM. Shirley’s final resting place will be a private interment at Memorial Park Cemetery.
