Shirley L. Cobb's Obituary
Cobb, Shirley of St. Petersburg passed away February 19, 2008. She was born in Metheun, Massachusetts on January 30, 1922 and moved to St. Petersburg in 1924. She was a member of Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society, a USF graduate, magna cum laude. She volunteered at Ozona Elementary for over fifteen years, during which she was named Senior Volunteer of the Year. She belonged to various bridge groups, and was a lifelong member of the Christian faith. She is survived by her children Jana Reidy of Palm Harbor and Richard Cobb of Pensacola, FL. In addition she is survived by three grandchildren, Megan Reidy of Palm Harbor and Philip and Sara Cobb of Pensacola as well as two nieces Shirlynn Dedinsky, Laurie Dixon, and nephew Robert Wells. The family will receive friends from 6-8PM on Thursday February 21st at the Memorial Park Funeral Home where a funeral service will be held Friday February 22nd at 3pm
