Sherroll "Sherri" Alanna Jessen's Obituary
Sherroll Alanna Jessen, known as Sherri by those who love her, passed away on October 2, 2024 after a long fight against cancer.
Sherri was born in Wellsboro, Pennsylvania on September 13, 1950 to her parents, Jesse and Marguerite Bryant, where she grew up, eventually going to school to become a real estate agent. Her career as an award-winning realtor with Century 21 spanned over 30 years, and she was celebrated for not only her successes, but her professionalism and passion for her work too. Sherri is remembered by her family as being classy, extremely generous and truly one-of-a-kind, not to mention absolutely gorgeous. She was an empathetic soul who always sought to provide understanding to others; she never had a bad word to say toward another, always striving to treat everyone with kindness. Even when she became sick, she still kept high spirits and aimed to continue being the light in her loved one's lives. Sherri was strong willed and a fighter through her illness. Armed with her family by her side and the comfort of a good Hallmark movie, she fought cancer valiantly for eight years. She will be remembered as a lover of reading, sitting by the pool in the summertime, and for always making time to watch the Hallmark channel.
Sherri is predeceased by her parents, Jesse and Marguerite, and her brother Dennis Bryant. She is survived by her loving husband, Denis Jessen, her children Lori Greenough (Colin) and Brian Palmer (Barb Nielsen); grandchildren Aidan Greenough, Pierce Greenough (Nicole), Jade Palmer and bonus granddaughter Ainsley Nielsen; great-grandchildren Mirabel Alanna Greenough and Easton Palmer; sister Pam Davis (Joe); nieces Alyssa Bryant, Abby Mollet, Jill Davis, Kristen Alvarez, and Sara Bowen (Mike); nephew Jason Bryant; grandnephews Joel and Aaron Bowen; sisters-in-law Jeannie Squitier and Donna Hill; brother-in-law Kenny Jessen, as well as many other family members and friends.
Sherri will be deeply missed, but her loved one's take comfort in knowing she is now the star of her own Hallmark movie.
