Sandra Lee Myers' Obituary
Myers, Sandra Lee Young passed away on Monday, March 9, 2020 at the age of 81 surrounded by family. She was born in Pennsylvania in the same hospital as the man that she would later marry, LeRoy J. Myers. They came to Florida on their honeymoon and quickly returned to live in the Sunshine State. Eventually raising a family of seven children.
She was a strong woman of great faith, raised in the United Methodist Church. Most recently worshipping at First United Methodist Church of Gulfport, Florida. When her children were small she was active in the PTA, a room mother, and school cafeteria attendant. She often said that she wished she had a nickel for every cupcake and cookie baked. She also had a love for music and would play her piano often.
She is preceded in death by her daughters, Luanne Kronsperger and Lurleen Amy Myers, along with son Woodrow “Woody” Myers.
She is survived by her husband of almost 62 years, LeRoy J. Myers. Also, her daughters Jeanette Bowen, Jerelyn Castricone, and Lydia Marron, son Ed Myers, and son-in-law Daniel Marron. She had 8 grandchildren and 1 great grandson.
