Mrs. Sally Anne Setter's Obituary
Setter, Sally Anne, 72, of Largo, passed away Dec. 24. She was born Aug. 7, 1937 to Elbert Franklin Payton and Anna Mae Dawson Payton in Daleville, IN. She married Henry L. Setter Jr. on Nov. 19, 1960 in South Bend, IN. Sally and Henry both graduated from Riley High School in South Bend, where they met. She was employed at associates Inv. Co in South Bend, Valparaiso Hospital in IN and Sangamo Electric Co. in Springfield, IL while her husband attended school and until her children were born. Sally returned to work after her children were grown and retired as a Market Manager from Lincare in Clearwater, FL. She received an Associate in Arts degree from Lincoln Land Community College in Springfield, IN. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Michael, one day old in Jan. 1962 and a sister-in-law, Karen Payton. She is survived by her husband, Henry; her son, Brian (Pam) Setter; her daughter, Diane (Steve) Trumbull; her beloved granddaughter, Elizabeth Anne; her sister Sondra (Charles) Kalwitz; her brothers, Edward (Monique) Payton and Richard (Josephine) Payton; many nieces and nephews and grand nieces and grand nephews. She enjoyed traveling, politics, reading and walks in the park. She was a kind and gentle person and was loved by all that knew her. Funeral services will be held Tuesday 12/29, at 10 am at Memorial Park Funeral Home Chapel.
