Mrs. Ruth E. Orenberg's Obituary
Orenberg, Ruth Ethel age 91, of Largo, passed away in the early morning of October 20, at Largo Sun Coast Hospice. Ruth was born and lived in lived in Washington, DC, then later in suburban Maryland where she raised her family and worked as a secretary at the Dept . Of Agricultural until she retired Ruth served over 40 years as a volunteer for the Disabled American Veterans and at various veterans hospitals.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Emanuel of 73 years, her parents Frieda and Harry Moore, her siblings Jean Moore, Joseph Moore, Nathan Moore and Sara Mossman.
Ruth is survived by her loving daughters, Nancy Handley, Deann Verdier, and Karen Janus; grandchildren Bil and Heath Bowman, Robert and Jacqueline Verdier, as well as great grandchildren Jacob, Mary Jane and Miles Bowman and an unborn great granddaughter due to be born in the spring.
Ruth loved to travel and saw much of the world from the decks of cruise ships. She loved meeting new people and was always eager to learn and use modern technology.
Services were held at Memorial Park Cemetery, Friday, October 23, 2015.
