Mrs. Ruth S. Huber's Obituary
Ruth S. Huber of St Petersburg, Florida passed away peacefully Tuesday, February 11, 2020 in St Petersburg. She was 93 and was born February 4, 1927 in Hinsdale, Illinois; the beloved daughter of the late Otto and Clara Schafer. She is survived by her husband John with whom she shared 72 years of marriage. Ruth and John lived in Hinsdale until they relocated to St. Petersburg in 1978. Ruth spent many years in the banking industry in both Illinois and later in Florida.
In addition to her husband John she is survived by her daughter Nancy Hartley, her son Kurt Huber, six grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Ruth was an avid sports fan and enjoyed following her favorite teams on television including the Chicago Cubs. Ruth also enjoyed bowling and spending time with her loving family.
