Brown, Ruth e., 'Betty', 86 of St. Petersburg died Monday, February 5, 2007, at her son's home in Dunedin. She moved here in 1929 from her native Scotia, New York. She was a member of St. Luke's United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women. She was a retired secretary of Child's Park United Methodist Church. She enjoyed gardening and playing bridge. She is survived by two sons; James of Bascom, Florida and John of Dunedin; a sister Kathleen Gile of St. Petersburg; three grandchildren and five great grandchildren
