Ruth L. Austin's Obituary
Mrs. Ruth L. Austin of St Petersburg, Florida passed away Monday, December 30, 2019 in the care of Suncoast Hospice. She was 73.
Ruth was born in Marblehead, Massachusetts, Monday, April 22, 1946; the beautiful daughter of the late George and Ruth Ann Lindsay. She enjoyed collecting multiple model horses and spending her quiet time reading. Ruth also enjoyed exploring and developing her skills as a writer; ultimately publishing some short stories in her travels.
Left behind to cherish her memory is her husband of 50 years, Gerald Austin. Ruth was the beloved mother of Heather Loomis, James Austin and Julie Smith. She is also the loving grandmother of four grandchildren; Ian Loomis, Maggie Loomis, Kaleb Smith and Kevin Austin. She was a beloved wife, devoted mother and loving grandmother who will be dearly missed.
Funeral services 11:00 am, Saturday, January 18, 2020 at Clearview Methodist Church 4515 38th Avenue North, St Petersburg, FL 33713 with a reception to immediately follow the ceremony.
