Rosalinda Santa Cruz's Obituary
Rosalinda Santa Cruz of St. Petersburg Florida passed away peacefully in her home on May 13th, 2024. Rosie was born on August 16, 1951, in San Jose, California. She was raised in Santa Clara California, graduated from Santa Clara High School and West Valley College. She had an inner and outer beauty & intellect. During her youth she was crowned Queen of the American GI Forum San Jose Chapter and was selected as a delegate in 1972 to attend the presidential national convention in Miami Beach Florida. At the age of 24 she enlisted in the United States Army where she served honorably from 1975 to 1978. She was a Christian woman, loving wife and mother. Enjoyed the beauty of nature, life and traveling.
She is preceded in death by her mother Hipolita Santa Cruz, her father Frank Santa Cruz, and brother David Frank Santa Cruz.
Rosie is survived by her loving husband of 48 years Michael Brink, her sons Michael Brink, Jacob Brink, her grandsons Michael, Thomas and David Brink, sisters Elia Santa Cruz-Cole (Dean), Norma Santa Cruz, cousins Judy (Donald) Stringari and Lilly Jo (John) Rahbar.
