Roland W. Galipeau (86) passed away on June 2, 2017. He was born in Meriden, Connecticut on June 6, 1930 to the late Leopold and Jeannette (Delisle) Galipeau. Upon graduating Meriden High School in 1948, Roland entered the Air Force. Following this, he was a skilled electrician and construction worker until retirement. He enjoyed going on cruises, woodworking, cooking, and entertaining guests. Roland was preceded in death by his brothers, Donald Galipeau and Norman Galipeau, and daughter, Jeannine DuBovik. He is survived by his beloved wife, Louise Galipeau; sister Lucille Carasquilla; daughter Suzanne Palermo; grandchildren Lisa Palermo, Matthew Palermo, Katie Hunt, and Bryan Rosengrant; and great-grandchildren Ava, Mason, and Parker. Roland’s final resting place will be at Memorial Park Cemetery.
