Rodman Eugene Reddish's Obituary
REDDISH, RODMAN E., 65, of Kenneth City, passed away at his home on February 24, 2021.
My dear beloved son was born in Bradford County and moved to St. Petersburg in the late 70's. He had a successful career, in which he loved, working on boats for 30 years. Rod loved to play his music loud, cook amazing food, loved people, and loved life!
Rod lived a fulfilling life as a companion, son, brother, uncle, and friend. He is survived by his mother, Trudell Starling, two brothers- Michael and Marshman Reddish, two sisters- Shirley Fitzgerald and Cindy Kilby. He was preceded in death by his companion, Lavaga R. Neff.
Safely Home
I am home in heaven, dear ones.
Oh, so happy and so bright!
There is a perfect joy and beauty
In the everlasting light.
All the pain and grief is over,
Every restless tossing passed;
I am now at peace forever,
Safely home in heaven at last.
There is work still waiting for you,
So you must not idly stand,
Do it now, while life remaineth-
You shall rest in God's own land.
When that work is all completed.
He will gently call you Home;
Oh, the rapture of that meeting
Oh, the joy to see you come!
