In Loving Memory of My Sister Robin Mozingo
1952-2016
Robin,
Funny how time slips away and you wonder if you've told your loved ones that you love and care about them enough times. It seem's like it is never enough. Never enough.
I remember when we were young kids, hiding underneath the bed, giggling, trying to get a peek at Santa.
I remember when you broke your arm, and had a cast on, Mom removed the cast with a pizza cutter because we had moved and didn't have a doctor.
I remember the two young carefree girls driving out to see Mom & Dad in Lecanto, "Summer Breeze" playing on the radio, windows down, long hair blowing in the wind.
Well we grew up and as John Lennon said "Life happens when you're busy doing other things".
We both got married, started families and kind of drifted apart. Except we always had the family get together's, a lot when Mom & Dad were still with us, then gradually down to once a year on Christmas eve. I want to thank you for keeping up our family Christmas eve tradition alive, a way for everyone in the family to stay in touch. So thank you.
We've grown closer these last few years and I am happy we did. Just talking on the phone, running errands together, and knowing we would be there for each other.
As I told before, you have raised two wonderful, strong and independent daughters and I know how proud you are of them. They are your legacy. You did good!
I will miss you terribly. Everyday.
I love you 1000 x's
God speed. I'll see ya on the flip-side.
Much Love,
Your sister Chris
