Few of you know that when I was 10 my sister Barbara use to watch Bob drive by the house everyday after work. He lived down the street from us. She use to drive by his house also on her way home I use to tell our mom that one day they were going to run into each other head on. I asked Barbara why she just didn't ask him out, but I was told that women did not do that back then. She said she would give me a dollar if I got her a date. Well a dollar back then to a 10 year old was a lot of money, and I did go to school with his daughter Kathy. So one day I was down at his house visiting with Kathy and he came home I told him my sister wanted to date him and gave him our telephone number. I hopped on my bike and ran in the house saying I did it! I did it. My sister quickly asked me what I had done. I told her and asked for my dollar, she said not until he called well he called and that weekend they went out to dinner the rest is history..
