Mr Robert L McIntyre Jr's Obituary
Robert Laurence McIntyre Jr., 72, died on January 10, 2015. Born in Tampa, he was raised in Texas and Maryland. He graduated from the University of Maryland and Stetson Law School in St. Petersburg. As a CPA he was formerly employed by Arthur Anderson Corporation, General Development Corporation, and owned Jackson Hewitt Tax Franchises in St. Petersburg. He was active in the Breakfast Optimist Club, First United Methodist Church, BIBLE Study Fellowship, Suncoast Fly Fishing Club, Boca Ciega Yacht Club, and helped to found Haywood County Clothes to Kids in Lake Junaluska, NC.
He is survived by his wife Anne Stout McIntyre, two children Robert of Waynesville, NC, and Kellie Searles of Jacksonville, Florida, three stepchildren Kimberly O'Leary, Scott Windham, and Craig Stout.
He had ten grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Services will be held on Friday, January 16, at 1:00pm with Rev. David Miller leading us with prayers and blessings at 2:00pm at Memorial Park Funeral Home, 5750 49th Street N in St. Petersburg. In lieu of flowers donations are strongly encouraged to Clothes to Kids, 177 Weldon Road, Lake Junaluska, NC, 28745.
