Robert Lee McCollum Sr.'s Obituary
Robert Lee McCollum Sr. , 73, of St. Petersburg, Florida sadly passed away on November 21, 2023 surrounded by his loving family. Robert was born on June 30, 1950 to his parents George McCollum Sr. and Mary Ellen McCollum in Charleston, West Virginia. Those who love him knew he was a massive fan of the Green Bay Packers, a lover of fishing and collecting coins, and a caring man who devoted many years of his life volunteering with adults who had mental and learning disabilities.
Robert is preceded in death by his parents, George Sr. and Mary Ellen, sisters Darlena Smith and Linda Cook, and brother Franklin Cook. He is survived by his loving wife, Joan, with whom he would have celebrated 52 years of marriage with on November 27th; daughters Jodi (Joseph) McCollum-Duszynski, Melissa (Richard) McCollum, Susan (Fred) McCollum; son Robert McCollum Jr; grandchildren Bradley McCollum, Cara Carpenter, Marilyn McCollum, Milo McCollum, and Baby Emma who is due to arrive in the next few months; and his three younger sisters Jackie Connelly, Alice Silbaugh, and Kathy McCollum.
