Rob and I first met in 6th grade at our bus stop, once we were in high school we rode to school with our dear friend Bobby Growe and Pam… lots of laughter and music on those rides (especially “Long haired country boy” one of Bobby’s favorites 😊) Losing touch after graduation, like so may do, Chad and I actually ran into him a couple of times while out… we lived life. After Chad’s accident, a dear friend arranged a go fund for our family, Rob was very compassionate and generous, like with everyone I could get in touch with, I reached out to show my appreciation for their kindness and gifts, Rob was one of those people. As I struggled handling my grief around the year mark Rob reached out one late night and we talked away, he helped draw me out of a deep dark hole. Music was our thing and shared lots of memories listening to bands and playing drums…. Lots of religious talks….One of the last times I saw him he said, “Coop, I actually started praying and believing in God again.” May he rest in peace and soon he’ll hear his voice and come out of the memorial tomb….. Keeping all his family, especially his kids and grandchildren in my thoughts and prayers and this very sad time….he loved his family very much ❤️
