Share a Memory. Too many good memories to list here. In the 49 years I've known Bob we've made made car trips to Ohio where Bob once fixed a water pump on my '72 LUV pickup. Our travel to Michigan, Sandusky, OH, Bob teaching all of us to water-ski on Pleasant Hill Lake, visiting his parents and seeing the Mansfield country-side. The many trips to FL where we seen the Keys, Daytona Beach, Clearwater, skied on lake Seminole, the Bahama cruise in 2008. Our drive up the Eastern Seaboard where we seen NYC, Niagara Falls, Bob and I smoking Cuban cigars on the Canadian side.
Bob and Barb's trips West where we traveled Hwy. 1 and 101 the entire way to Oregon, seeing S.F, on the way. The car journey to Victoria B.C via ferries and back to Vancouver, to Olympic Village, BC. The trip home seeing the Columbia River with all of its magnificent water falls, Bob and I hiking to the top and waving at the girls below. Our stops at Mt. Hood, Yosemite, the infamous trip down the mountainous road from Sequoia Natl. Park, Bob driving, running low on gas.
Another trip West where we drove to Yellowstone Natl. Park, visited Mt. Rushmore, Red Rocks Amphitheater in Denver where Bob and I left the girls behind and climbed the 380 steps to the top, both of us huffing and puffing. Always in friendly competition with each other. In Utah, we visited Arches Natl. Park where we again left the girls behind and hiked in a few hundred yards on a typical 110 degree day, Bob barely breaking a sweat and making fun of me sweating profusely.
Going to end it here. Just a few examples. Bob was more like an older brother and mentor to me and to say I miss him is an understatement. God Bless you Bob and hope to "see you in the next life" too, my friend.
