Anderson, Robert C. S., "Andy", 91 of Treasure Island died at Arden Court, Jan 31, 2009, under the care of Hospice. He came to Tampa from his Native Chicago on a football scholarship at the University of Tampa and was a retired Navy Pilot serving in WWII. He married his beloved Dorothy in 1943, worked in mill supplies and taught at Robinson High School. He was a deacon at First Presbyterian Church. He moved to Treasure Island in 1969, was the first director of Pinellas County Vocational Technical Institute, and received his master's degree from Colorado State University. He was a member of Pasadena Presbyterian Church. Survivors include his wife of 66 years, Dorothy; daughter, Sharon Cernogorsky of Thomasville, GA; other family members and many friends. Graveside service, with Military Honors, 1 PM, Thursday, Feb 5th at Memorial Park Cemetery. The family suggests memorials to Hospice of the Florida Suncoast or The Alzheimer's Foundation.
