My wife and I had the real privilege of following then Majors Bob and Betty Bridges to an appointment. They had been appointed to a challenging and even difficult situation. In that Corps, the Lord worked through the Bridges' beautiful spirit and strong leadership to turn that difficult situation around and The Salvation Army came back strong. When we succeeded the Bridges there, we found everything in very good order. For the next four years, whenever I was out and about in the community, people would tell me of the good impression Bob Bridges made on behalf of The Salvation Army and on them personally. So many times, people would mention Bob Bridges' impeccable integrity. Today, when I hear the word, integrity, Bob Bridges' name comes to my mind. I am grateful my wife and I had the opportunity to cross paths with Lt. Colonel Bob Bridges. May God continue to bless his family.
