Mr Robert Edward White
August 30, 1939 – June 6, 2026
Robert (Bob) Edward White graduated June 6, 2026, and is now in the arms of Father in Heaven and his loving family who have preceded him.
He is survived by Jimmie, his wife of thirty-eight years, his sons Joseph and Robert, Jr, his daughter, Leanna, brother Richard, sister Peggy and many others.
Born in San Francisco, CA, he grew up in Crescent City. He was the son of Lloyd Edward White and Helen Annette Cramblett.
A graduate of Cal Poly, St Louis Obispo, and San Jose State, where he received his Master's in Electrical Science, he worked for a time at the Lawrence Livermore Labs with the nuclear energy commission.
He joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints while living in San Jose. He became an Elder, and was later sealed with his first wife, Carol Marquering, in the Oakland Temple.
Later he moved to the Portland, Oregon area and worked mainly for Tektronix. After a divorce in 1987, he met his wife, Jimmie Bischoff who worked at the same company. They were married in the Seattle Temple in July 1988.
He held many positions in the church, including a first counselor in a bishopric, and ordinance worker in the temple. Of all the positions he held, being an ordinance worker was the most favorite.
A memorial service is planned, and the family and friends will be notified.
