Robert 'Bob' E. Harmon's Obituary
Robert ’Bob’ E. Harmon, 87 went to be with the Lord on Dec 28th after a long illness. Born and raised in Akron Ohio, he served in the Navy 2years and was employed 42 years at Good Year Tire and Rubber Company. He
retired 26years as a resident of St Petersburg, was an avid golfer, bowler, traveler, wood crafter, cyclist, hiking, music lover, sports fan and outdoorsman. He also enjoyed volunteering over the years at Tampa Bay Harvest and Meals on Wheels. Preceded in death by his daughter, Michelle Bleibtrey, he is survived by his best friend of 45 years, Stephanie Harmon, with whom he shared 32 years of marriage; sisters, Marie Geisinger, Sunny Hartman, Genny Schaber; children -Vickie Appling, Craig Harmon, Joanne Wolf, Lori Frey (Phil), Dennis Darlington, Colleen Darlington, Tim Darlington (Kathy), Marne Piccilomini (David); his buddy Miles; 16 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
