Thank you for being nice to me when others were not and thanks for cooking a cheese burger for me when we all skipped school at your parents house.
Our condolences to the family. We have known Rich since elementary school. Our son, Erik, and Rich use to hang out together . Time moves on and we lost contact with him. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time.
Rich and I basically grew up together, through middle school and high school we were on the same bowling team at ten pin lanes, we even won a state championship in 84, but as we know rich had a laugh that was one in a million! those who knew him know what I'm talking about. Although we fell out of touch over the years, I will never forget the good times we had, I'll miss you man.
To the Shinn family, Our sincere condolences for your loss. We have known your family for many years and were so sorry to read about Richie. May God hold you close and give you His comfort and peace. May you know that many of us suffer with you for the loss of your loved one. Richie was always so vibrant and fun. I know he will be greatly missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
My sincere condolences to Rich's family, Dr. Shinn, Karen, Pam and Lou Ann. I have many great memories of our childhood friendship; too many to even mention.
I ask God to provide His comfort, strength and peace to Rich's family as they mourn.
All my sympathy to Rich's Dad, sisters and family. I've known Rich all through middle school, high school and worked with him during our restaurant/bar years. One word comes to mind: FUN!!!! I miss the old days working out on St. Pete Beach with Rich and all the FUN we had... Over the last few years we fell out of touch, and now I wish we hadn't. We had a lot of FUN times together!! RIP Rich!! :)
Rich and I graduated high school together in St. Petersburg (Gulfport.) We hung out quite a bit until I relocated to Michigan in 1990. He was always fun to be around, and a genuine person. Rich was nice to everyone. HE always had a smile on his face. Although I haven't seen him in a long time, I'll miss him.
I am so sorry to hear about Rich. He was a good friend to me in school. His laugh always made everyone else laugh. On a high school trip, Rich was the life of the party. If he was around, you just knew you were going to have fun! We could goof off for hours. Once we found a kitten covered in oil under the hood of my mom's car. I was worried he wouldn't make it,but Rich said he could take him to his dad and get him all fixed up and he did. When he brought me back the cat, he said from then on I could call him "Super Rich"! I'm sure if he could get my message he would giggle that infectious giggle and say,"hey Peanut, see ya around"! You'll be missed my friend. My heartfelt condolences to your family.
