Richard Garland Grimsley's Obituary
Richard Garland Grimsley, 72 passed away on Veterans Day November11th 2010. He was a beloved father, grandfather and a dear friend to many. The world was a much better place with him in it. He always had a smile and a kind word for everyone he encountered. He will be greatly missed by all of his family and friends. He was definitely a one of a kind great man. Richard was born in Rocky Mount, North Carolina and raised his family in College Park, Maryland. He moved his family to St. Petersburg in 1978. He served in the United States Army and retired from Albertsons grocery store as a meat manager. He is preceded in death by his wife Patsy Grimsley. He is survived by his two loving sons and best friends, Barry Anderson and Richard L. Grimsley, a loving daughter-in-law Terri Grimsley and his loving grandchildren Leah Anderson, Thomas Lossa and Kerri Grimsley, and a sister-in-law Ruth Grimsley. We love you Pappy!
