'Fitz' was my mentor and friend. We worked together for Pinellas County in the Survey & Mapping Division. Fitz was an inspiration to me in my professional and personal life. He was a patient teacher and guided me in my preparation for my Professional Surveyor & Mapper licensure. He always had a great story and made me laugh. Vega, my daughter, and I would visit Fitz after he retired and she referred to him as her 'adopted grandpa.' Rest in Peace Fitz.
