Richard graduated from USF in 1981 with a degree in accounting and worked 30 years for the late Jim Macaluso. Richard courageously battled MS for 8 years and most recently glioblastoma for 15 months. He was a great old soul with a keen sense of humor. He loved vacationing at Captiva Island, fishing, playing softball, golfing, attending Tampa Bay Rays home games, landscaping and especially planning the menu for Sunday dinners with his children. After becoming ill Richard retired and enjoyed watching HGTV home shows and remodeled 2 neighborhood homes to rent. He would scooter down to the homes to check on the progress.
