Thayer, Richard A., 85, of Kenneth City, Florida, died Saturday, June 23, 2007 at Northside Hospital and Heart Institute. Born in Franklinville, New York, he moved to the area in 1986 from Queens. He was an Army WWII veteran, and he worked as a machinist for over 50 years. He was a member of St Marks First united Methodist Church in St Petersburg and the Elks Lodge # 1224. He is survived by his son Robert Weber of Tampa, Florida, 3 brothers Herbert 'Herb' Thayer, Milton 'Bob' Thayer and Gerald 'Curly' Thayer all of Fillmore, NY, 5 grandchildren , 13 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
