Raymond P. Weaver's Obituary
Weaver, Raymond P., 87, of St. Petersburg, went to be with the Lord on October 19, 2010. The family moved from Norfolk, Virginia to Florida in 1966. He retired from the Navy as a Chief Petty Officer after 22 years of service. He saved many lives as a naval radio operator during World War II. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Pinellas Park, the VFW Post 4364, and The American Legion #104. He is survived by his wife Jane, children, Linda Cooper (Bob "Doc"), Raymond T. Weaver, Steven J. Weaver (Vicky), Susan W. Mathews (Michael), John P. Weaver (Debbie), 12 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren. The visitation will be held at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Friday, October 22 from 6:00 - 8:00PM. The service will be held at First Baptist Church of Pinellas Park on Sunday, October 24 at 2:00PM.
